Robust and safe transportation solution made from high-quality aluminium for large dogs such as Bernese Mountain Dog, Hovawart, Rottweiler or Irish Setter with a max. weight of 50 kg. Specially developed aluminum bars provide maximum stabilization and are also anodized for an effective corrosion resistance. All plastic connectors are fiberglass-reinforced and therefore extremely rugged. Due to the quality precision engineering, the crates do not rattle or make any disturbing noise while travelling. A twist-lock is fitted as standard and immediately and securely snaps into place. The long locking bar provides additional stability and torsion resistance. The door can be operated with one hand, leaving one hand free to hold the dog in place. The crate is secured with tie-down straps to the factory fitted anchor points in the luggage compartment. Main features: aluminum die-cast lock case, coated and scratch-resistant hardwood flooring, urine-resistant plastic tubing, crash-tested door lock system with 2 keys, impact protection system and special crash-tested rear panel. Leak-proof, elevated side walls keep the luggage compartment free from dirt and excretions. Optimum air flow guarantees the pet’s well-being during transport. Including a removable floor mat, 2 sturdy straps with a tensile force of 350 kg/770 lbs each and additional VELCRO® strips for fixing at the bottom of the box to ensure that it does not slip inside the luggage compartment. Completely maintenance-free thanks to hinges made of a self-lubricating plastic-graphite alloy. Easy and convenient in everyday use and allows a clear view of the road through the rear mirror. In principle, existing Ford warranties remain. However, restrictions arising from respective warranty conditions equally apply. In particular, it should be noted that Ford assumes no liability for repairs that might be required in consequence of use in motorsport. In case a part is installed which is not permitted on public roads, the general type approval may expire.
